Audition Workshop 2023
March 25th & 26th, 2023

The audition workshop is open to applicants up to 18 years of age for admission to the first year of the Advanced Study Programme, 2023/24.
The audition workshop will take place Saturday, March 25, and Sunday March 26, 2023 at Zurich Dance Academy, Toni-Areal, Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
The Advanced Study Programme is a 3- to 4-year intensive training in German and English. The young dancers are taught practical subjects such as classical ballet, en pointe ballet, classical variations, classical pas de deux, contemporary dance, improvisation, and body conditioning. National and international guest teachers complement the in-house training with their specialist knowledge and backgrounds. The academic curriculum of theoretical subjects includes music history, music theory, dance history, professional studies, anatomy, society, language/communication, and English.
In all, Zurich Dance Academy prepares talented young people from all international backgrounds for their future careers as dancers. A highly qualified team of teachers with outstanding international reputations represent the standard of quality we provide with our education. Our graduates are represented at prestigious ballet companies worldwide.
We are a partner of several well-known dance and ballet competitions, including the Prix de Lausanne, Youth America Grand Prix and Tanzolymp Berlin.
Established in 2005, Zurich Dance Academy is part of the Department of Performing Arts and Film at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
